Healthylife sign the Pledge for More veg

The Plus One Serve team was delighted to attend the Healthylife Living Healthy Report 2026 Launch and four-day Interactive Exhibition, bringing together leaders from retail, health, research, and industry to explore practical solutions to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians.

As part of the Woolworths Group, Healthylife is a leading digital health platform supporting Australians through accessible health advice, online pharmacy and vitamins, nutrition and fitness tracking, and a curated range of natural and organic products. Through its digital ecosystem, Healthylife is uniquely positioned to help Australians make healthier everyday choices and translate health intentions into meaningful action.

This year’s Living Healthy Report explored the theme of the “Health Confidence Disconnect” highlighting the growing gap between Australians’ desire to live healthier lives and their confidence in making informed food and lifestyle decisions. Throughout the program, attendees unpacked key findings and discussed evidence-based interventions designed to better support behaviour change nationwide.

As part of the event, Plus One Serve Managing Director Justine Coates presented the latest insights into Australia’s Vegetable Consumption Gap, alongside the collaborative actions being undertaken to drive national behaviour change. The presentation highlighted the latest data, insights, and industry perspectives from AUSVEG, Hort Innovation, and NielsenIQ.

Healthylife sign the Pledge for More Veg

A major highlight of the event was Healthylife officially signing the Pledge for More Veg, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Australians to eat more vegetables and improve long-term health outcomes.

The pledge was formally signed by Ananth Sarathy alongside Simone Austin and Justine Coates, marking a shared commitment to increasing vegetable consumption and supporting a healthier, more secure food system for Australia.

Importantly, Healthylife has already demonstrated leadership in this space through its annual research and insight sharing on vegetable purchasing and consumption, while also testing and building evidence around innovative interventions such as the Fruit & Veg Challenge. Their work connecting the Food Tracker tool to Woolworths customer baskets and Everyday Rewards further demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to helping Australians make healthier food choices in practical and measurable ways.

By signing the Pledge for More Veg, Healthylife is strengthening its commitment to supporting Aussie growers, supply chain partners, and thriving regional communities, while helping Australians build healthier eating habits.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, team members from Plus One Serve, AUSVEG, Hort Innovation, and NielsenIQ hosted the interactive “Veg Confidence – What is a serve?” stand. Attendees were encouraged to learn what a serve of vegetables looks like and engage with fresh Australian-grown vegetables in a fun and practical way. It was fantastic to see the growing momentum behind the Plus One Serve by 2030 mission and the enthusiasm from attendees to learn more about increasing their daily vegetable intake.

The event highlighted the importance of collaboration across industry, health, retail, and research sectors to help close Australia’s vegetable consumption gap and empower Australians to make healthier food choices every day.
